Halloween is never just one day....it's full of multiple parties, pumpkin carving night, trunk-or-treat and trick-or-treating. We had such a great time this year...
Pumpkin Carving at the Downeys
(with the Fifes and Wagners too)
Pumpkin guts....not my favorite! :)

This year while I was buying the carving tools at the store, I found a new kit to decorate pumpkins. I bought it for Megs and Jessica. They LOVED hammering the posts into the pumpkin!

And so did the other little kids!

The Downeys had Christmas lights all over their trees outside because there was a wedding reception in their backyard the weekend before. It was fun to carve pumpkins under the Christmas lights! :)

Thanks Downeys!...We had such a great time!!
Jessica's Preschool Halloween Program
She is so shy and doesn't like much attention so for most of the program she was like this with her face covered..

or like this, turning to the side so no one could see her face...

but by the end she did warm up a little!

Mark's office annual Halloween dress up day...
(biker theme)
Here's the front office...

and the back office at work....

and how would you like this guy straitening your teeth???

Halloween Day...the costumes!
For Halloween, Rachel wanted to be a cave girl, Tommy wanted to be a vampire and Sam wanted to be a Cowboy. PERFECT! I had most of those costumes and this year was going to be easy. But after seeing Mark's costume, the three oldest kids changed their minds. They liked the idea of black clothes, earings and tattoos! I cringe as I look at these pictures, but here they are....

Yes, this was a frightening night looking at my kids dressed up like this!

Even if it only helps a little, I liked her way better with a smile! :)

And thank goodness for my sweet little girls who still like to dress up like sweet, innocent things!

My Fairy Princess...

And my little kitty-cat...

They had so much fun at our ward's trunk-or-treat/carnival and then trick-or treating around our neighborhood!

Here is Mark and his two friends Dave and Jason. They were all in dental school together and now we are all in the same ward! Way to go Jason for having a little Halloween spirit!

By the end of the night, we were all exhausted, even on a sugar high!

Hope you had a Happy Halloween!
