This year we decided to have it up at Grandpa and Grandma Williams' house. My mom started scrapbooks for all of her children years and years ago. It is a project that she never has time for, but is always weighing on her shoulders to do...so....we decided to go up to her house and help.
There were quite a few that couldn't make it this weekend, but for those of us that did, we had a great time.
A lot of the time was spent outside. Either on the back porch chatting and laughing...
and/or watching the kids play....
The younger kids had so much fun playing outside together!
Tori showed us her back flip. Michelle was a great "spotter!"
and as always, Rachel and Tori had their own little photo-shoot!
That night we had fun just hanging out with each other and looking at old pictures.

Annette also made a game for us to play. You had to match the baby picture with one of my mom and dad's babies.
I only got one right! Michelle and Tori won...they only got two wrong!
They won the prize!
The next day we started with traditional Dutch pancakes! My dad was the taste tester. I think he approved!
Evelyn was on fly-swatter duty! :)
Then we went to work downstairs in the basement scrap booking. It was a big job!!!
Even though we only put a dent in it, we had a great time looking at all the pictures!
These two just had fun playing Mr. Potato head! :)
You can't have a girls' Weekend without a trip to the mall!
Before we left for the mall, Tori did Jessica and Halle's hair and put lip gloss on them. They thought they were BEAUTIFUL! Every time I took out my camera, Jessica would pose!
At the mall, they went around posing by all of the mannequins. They seriously thought they were models and they couldn't get enough of me taking pictures of them!
These girls hung out together too!
I love Utah malls! They are so kids friendly! We sent all the kids on a little "train ride" around the mall. I don't know how excited Rachel and Tori were about it, but they agreed to go so they could watch the younger kids.
That evening, Annette made a family Jeopardy game for the grandchildren to answer questions about us, their Aunts and Uncles.
She would tell them and event or memory and they would have to guess who it happened to...There was a lot of laughter!
It was fun to have this year's girl's weekend at my parents' house. I think they loved it too! I have great parents that are such good examples for all of us. While there, I was able to see their new wall in their office. It is their "missionary wall." It isn't finished yet, but this is what it looked like.
It has their mission plaques on the top and then the children who went on missions and then their grandchildren thus far.

I'm not sure where we will do it next year, but it might be a good tradition to go there every year! It was so fun!
