Julia + Shane

The wedding weekend finally came and it was so much fun!  All my siblings were here (it's been a really long time since we have all been together!) and there were tons of cousins for my kids to play with.
Friday night was a dinner for all the family.
Here's Shane and Julia

and my beautiful sister Michelle (without braces) with Tori.

Here's me with all my sisters!  I LOVE these girls!

The reception was BEAUTIFUL!  and so was Julia!

The older girl cousins helped clear the tables and keep the refreshment table stocked.  My sister Larse made these darling aprons for them...

These boys opened the doors for guests and took their presents...

The dads hung out with the little ones...

and the little girls couldn't get enough of the candy table...

Julia threw her bouquet...

and Tori caught it!
Not a good thing!  One, Tori is TOO young, Two, Michelle is not ready to plan another wedding.  I call for a re-throw!  :)

Julia and Shane danced...

Love was in the air and I wanted to dance.  Mark was busy (either talking or taking care of Jessica), Tommy ran away when I asked him to dance, but Sam reluctantly accepted.
Awww...it was sweet dancing with my little guy!  I was loving it, but I think he was a little embarrassed!

Since my parents and all of my siblings were together, we had a family picture.  My dad wanted us to line up in order but leave a space for my brother Trent, who passed away about 16 years ago.

It was such a fun weekend to be together with my family and see Shane and Julia get married.  Congrats Julia and Shane!

Pet Store

I knew better than to take my kids to the pet store!  We needed dog food, and instead of just going to the store myself, I thought it might be fun for the kids to go there and see the animals.  When I told them where we were going, they were all excited and then the questions started....Can we get a hampster?  Why not?  Can we get a cat?  Why not?  Can we get another dog?  Can we get a bird?  and the questions continued until I finally declared, "WE ARE NOT GOING TO GET ANY ANIMALS!  WE ARE JUST GOING TO GET DOG FOOD AND LOOK AT THE ANIMALS!  I thought they got it because the questions stopped....until we got to the pet store!
I CAVED!  Sam talked me into a goldfish.  Really, it was only 13 cents and I figure it will probably die in a few days, right?  But Tommy and his cousin Tysen would not be satisfied with a goldfish.  They talked me into a beta fish because it would live longer.  Since it was more than 13 cents they said they would pay for it with their own money.  So, we came home with 4 little fish!
Here is Sam's fish, "Black Night"
Here is Megan's fish, "Angel-fish"
and here is Jessie's fish, "Queen-tail"
I have to admit, it was cute see them so excited about taking care of their little fish.

And these two boys were intense when it came to putting together the tank and caring for their fish, "Joe-Joe-crowntail-black-feather."  Don't ask me how they came up with the name!

They spent the rest of the day planning their new hobby...fish collecting.  They are going to save up to buy a fish aquarium (which they have already picked out on line).  They also picked out the 30 fish  online at petsmart.  It's all they could think and talk about all day!   After adding up all of the costs, they figured they will have the aquarium and all their fish payed for in about a year and a half!  :)

Fourth of July

It has become almost a tradition to spend the fourth of July with the Fifes.  We swam, ate and had an AWESOME firework show!  :)

Happy Fourth of July 2010!

Megan

She got fake nails from her friend for her birthday...

She was SOO excited to put them on.

She said she couldn't wait to show her friends.  She said she was going to leave them on for a LONG time.

I told her that the tape adhesive was not that strong and they probably wouldn't stay on very long, but she didn't believe me.  She LOVED the feeling of having long, beautiful nails....

...for about 3 minutes until she tried to pick something up and a couple popped off.  She quickly put them back on but they popped off quicker this time.  She tried to keep them on for about 2 more minutes until she gave up and she ripped all of them off.

Love this girl!

Tori and Chuck e Cheese

I don't know what it is about Chuck e Cheese.  It has become somewhat of a tradition in the Williams family to have b-day parties there, no matter the age!  We don't do them at normal times though....we only do them at 9:00am in the morning.  I don't think anyone knows that it is open at that time, but it is.   It's almost like having a private party with the whole place to ourselves!  (shhh...don't let the secret out!)
So.....Tori's b-day is tomorrow.  My sister -in-law and I decided to have a Williams cousin b-day party for her at Chuck-e-Cheese this morning.
We got there right at 9:00am.  Seriously the only ones there!  We waited to surprise her...

I think she was surprised?  At least she acted surprised to see me and her little nieces and nephews!

13 years old isn't too old for a party there, is it?  Nope, not for Tori!  She's just like her brother Joe when it comes to Chuck-e-Cheese, it's in the blood to love that place!

The other kids had fun too!

And Julia even stopped by to enjoy the party!

Here's my sister and her baby girl that is now 13!!!!

Look!  They both have braces!  (ha ha Michelle!  I just had to tease you because I made you show them off when I took the picture!  I love them! )  Plus, I need to document the braces since you will have them off next week!  woo hoo!!!

And here is the cute birthday girl!  I love you Tori!!!

Bowler Cousins

We were missing quite a few, but we had a fun time getting together at the hydro tube in St. George last night!

It was fun!
Our kids haven't stopped talking about it all day!  Thanks Uncle Jeff and Aunt Laurie for putting this all together!
