Provo

Last week we took a trip up to Provo.  We were there four days.  It was so nice to be up in cooler weather and enjoy the beauty of Provo.  (I forgot my little point and shoot camera, so we used my phone camera....these pictures do not have the best resolution, but still worth documenting!)
We went on a little trail hike with Grandpa one morning.  It was beautiful!

A little ways down the trail, we noticed a cave up in the mountain.  Mark and the boys decided to hike up to it....

They made it up there...

and then the girls decided that they wanted to go too!  In flip flops!!
I was feeling adventurous so I decided to help them get up there.  It was not an easy hike up (or down, for that matter), but Mark came down and helped us.  We finally all made it!

It was a beautiful view!

Mark and Tommy thought it would be fun to give me a heart-attack!

Until enough was enough!  :)

Actually, the pictures look a lot more dangerous and scary than they really were, but I was ready to go back down to Grandpa and the safe trail!

Then we enjoyed the walk back to the house...

While there, we enjoyed some great food!

We went ice blocking with Wes and Lucy.  It was the kids first time ice blocking.

I think they had fun....but Mark hurt his shoulder...really bad!  That was kind of a bummer!

The best thing about our trip, was the time that the kids got to spend with Grandpa and Grandma.  We sure miss them!  The kids played the "Don't laugh" game with Grandpa.  (Again, the resolution and focus on these pics are sooo bad, but you get the picture, right")

And Grandma did a sewing craft with them, which they LOVED!

It was so fun to hang out with Wes, Lori, Lucy and Spencer too!  The kids loved asking Spencer what his name was.  Sometimes he would say their name, but other times, when he felt like teasing, he would call them "Hook!"  It kept us laughing all weekend.

We were sad to leave!

On the way out of town, we stopped in Payson to look at the house that Wes and Lori are building.  They just started it, but it's looking great!  

It will be fun to watch the progress in the trips that we make up there.  Hopefully we can make it up again soon!
