Tommy and Sam's late Christmas present arrived today

Tommy has been into football lately and has been asking for a "real" football uniform so we decided to get one for him and Sam for Christmas. The Fifes also ordered one for Jackson. Well, a few days before Christmas, we received an e-mail informing us that the uniforms were back-ordered and wouldn't be here in time. (They are not really uniforms, they are costumes, but don't tell Tom!) Well, Christmas morning came and I don't know what the Fifes did to get Jackson's uniform here on time but he came running into our house dressed in his new football uniform. We had some dissapointed boys, but we explained the situation and assured them that their uniforms arrive soon. They have been checking outside our door everyday since Christmas...waiting for the uniforms. It's been a long nine days, but today the boxes arrived and we had some happy boys here at the Truman home! Tommy and Sam quickly changed in their uniforms and Jackson ran home and did the same. Don't they look awesome??

Their other favorite thing to do lately, besides playing football in the backyard, is playing a catch game with Dad in our long hallway. It is a fun game where they get to move back one tile square every time they catch the ball. The first one to the door wins. There are other various rules about chancing it, etc. to make it more challenging and fun. The kids love it, even Rachel and Megan! Jessica just cuddles with me on the couch while we cheer them on.
